Grab the April Fashion Looks!

Warmer weather is on the way and we here at LV Kiki have been looking forward to it ever since we laid our eyes on the first shots of New York’s Spring/Summer ’16 Fashion Week. What better way to prepare ourselves for the much needed sun, short sleeves, and shades than by wrapping up our favorite trends we’ve seen on the runway for this season? Keep reading if you’re looking for all the deets on how to incorporate the latest style trends into your wardrobe without breaking the bank!

Trend #1: Plaid

We LOVE plaid. Always have, probably always will! Turns out this season Anna Sui, Thakoon, and Victoria Beckham were feeling the love too. We saw plaids in all colors and sizes strutting their stuff on the runway in Fashion Weeks from Paris to Milan to New York. Keep it posh like Victoria Beckham’s line and pair it with an outfit of black and white basics or explore your wild side like Anna Sui and throw on some florals. You really can’t go wrong this season!

Trend #2: Suede
We know you’ve seen it…you can’t ignore it! Everyone has succumbed to the beauty of suede. From skirts to dresses - suede has made its way back from the 70’s and into our hearts. We love gorgeous caramel suede with cranberry, emerald green and mustard yellow statement pieces. *swoon* Suede looks basically fab with everything, but it looks exceptionally wonderful combined with fur. (Think Penny Lane) Texture, texture, texture! Here are a few accessories we’d rock with our favorite suede skirt.

Trend #3: Wide Brim Fedoras
Ok, we know, we know! This trend has been around for a while from Kim K to Beyonce…everyone’s been seen rocking a wide brimmed fedora these days, but we just haven’t been able to get enough of it! And, as the saying goes: why get rid of a good thing? And trust us, wide brimmed fedoras are more than just a good thing: they’re a GREAT thing. Perfect with straight hair or beachy waves. Appropriate with a scarf and coat or a skirt and sandals: the wide brimmed fedora is here to stay!
